December looks set to become one of my busiest months to date and gets the ball rolling on what is to be a very hectic schedule for me. On the 7th of December I will be locking myself away in the recording studio with my band to finally begin work on my new album 'The Devil Beside Me'. It feels like it's been a long road leading up to this point and so much seems to have happened since I released my last album in 2017, 'City of Streets'. I've been on two European tours, played a festival in Portugal and had radio play across the globe including BBC introducing. And now the time has coming again to put out another release... or die trying!
So keep your eyes pealed for more info on that and I'll be drip feeding images and videos as well as some exclusive behind the scenes footage as we get closer and closer to the release date in May next year.
November saw me take to the stage for the last time this year with a trip to Newcastle to play a secret gig for Sofar Sounds. The concept behind their shows is to with hold the location and acts until the day of the show, and because of their great reputation for putting on quality live music the shows always sell out. The gig I played for them was no exception and I performed to a full house of music fans that couldn't have been a more generous crowd. For those that couldn't make it the show it was filmed so expect to see the finished film online in the next couple of months.
