New single 'Never Had a Heart' out now

Updated: Feb 1, 2020

I'm proud and excited to be finally sharing some new music with you guys! The single 'Never Had a Heart' is out now on Spotify, Apple Music and all other major platforms. You can Download or stream it here. It feels like a long journey to get to this point and yet somehow time seems to be racing away at the moment. But whenever I listen to the song it takes me back to when I wrote it all those months ago and I hope it has the same effect when you listen to it. I think it's one of the best pieces of music I've put out there and I hope it has the same emotional impact as it does on me. It's a song that's at one hand deeply personal and the other speaks on a level that we can all relate to, the sense of isolation that sometimes comes with modern life and living in big cities.

Hopefully this is something that comes across in the music video. We filmed a lot of it in the room in London in which the song was written and the rest in the streets of Hoxton, two places I've spent a lot of my time and have come to shape my musical and personal experiences over the years. I hope that from watching the video below you get a sense of not only my personal experiences but can relate it to your own.

There are also still a few tickets left for the official release party this Saturday downstairs at Roadtrip & The Workshop. But if you'd like to come don't leave it too long as it's selling out fast! The venue is appropriately 5mins from Old Street tube right in the heart of Hoxton. Tickets are £6 in advance and come with a free download of the single 'Never Had a Heart'. It's £8 on the door so another reason to get your tickets in early. You can buy tickets online here. Joining me on stage will be my amazing band who played on the record and my good friend Darren Campbell, who will be providing support on the night. It will be a great chance to come chat with me and the band and to celebrate in one of my local haunts.
