Blue Skys And Better Days

This month see' s the release of my new E.P. 'Broken Road (acoustic sessions)'. Which as the name suggests, is an acoustic reworking of the singles from my last album 'Broken Road' released back in 2020. And it seems like a fitting tribute to that album as it marks a year since it's release. Recorded at Masterlink Productions in Woking with producer James Walsh, The songs are a great representation of how my my music first comes to life, in a simple arrangement of voice and acoustic, before I take them to the studio and work with my band on the rhythm section and electric guitar. The songs have a simple stripped back vibe that represents the beginning of that journey well, and something I'm sure you guys are gonna love. The E.P. is out now and you can listen to it by clicking on the link below.

And speaking of new releases, I'm happy to announce rehearsals have begun in earnest with my band on my latest studio album 'Marked Man'. We're due to hit the studio in mid July and I'm looking forward to jumping on a train to Woking to return to Masterlink studios to work again with producer James Welsh. Expect more Blues infused rock with maybe a little Americana sprinkled into the mix. After that is done there'll be no time to take a breather as it will be straight back into rehearsals once again for a series of gigs I have lined up in the coming months, the details are below. 7th Aug - The Drawing Room, Chesham. 4th Sep - Borough Blues Club, Cwmbran, Wales. 10th Sep - NE Volume Music Bar, Stockton-on-Tees. 25th Nov - St. Edith Folk, Sevenoaks. Hopefully I'll see you at one of these shows, with more dates to be announced soon, I'm sure you'll find one in a town near you!
